Things I Have Learned from My Kids
No, it's not going to be the list that includes rolling skating over dust bunnies sprayed with hairspray, though I always kind of liked that list. But anyway:
Freshly made shofars stink. Also, they take out the cartilage from the shofars with a special instrument, and the inside is the same shape as the outer horn, which only makes sense. Anyway, it smelled like year-old meat inside my car yesterday, and the eldest kept blowing into her freshly made shofar, which produced predictably flatulent noises and the occasional honest to Betsy loud horn sound. While I was driving.
