Got to discipline my least favorite student on Friday. He handed me an opportunity, too: decided to copy a classmate's homework word for word. He didn't even bother changing the phrasing: the only thing he did was rearrange the order of the sentences. His comment when I busted him: "I didn't think you'd know." I swear, it's like watching hamsters in a cage sometimes.

I should probably be ashamed of the little shot of glee I had for nailing him; I realize none of the bullshit I'm getting dished is personal, though it can feel like it.
