Survived another weekend. I try to quantify the utiles my kids got out of it. Playdates: four (one impromptu, three done with malice prepense). Therapeutic activities: two (one speech therapy session, one social skills program. The social skills program lasted five hours, though, so maybe I need a more granular system). Athletics: one trip to pool (other kids from school there, so semi-social as well). Literacy: one book read by child. Two books read by adult to child. Math: no math problems done. I console myself with the robust social activity schedule.
But I do this kind of accounting out of fear: I don't want to go to bed dispirited that I've wasted yet another day. But at my back I always hear/Time's winged chariot hurrying near.
