Happy Independence Day

Back in the day, when I was at U.Va., I did the Monticello tour so many times that I would fill in the guides if the forgot to tell the story about TJ and John Adams, who died on the same day, a few hours apart; Adams, perennially jealous of Jefferson, mistakenly moaned, "Jefferson lives!"
