Call for Philip Morris
Which is sometimes the way I feel when dealing with the school district: let's say just anything to justify our position. Lung cancer, shmung cancer. At least today I saw one administrator who wasn't just arguing for the sake of justifying a placement decision she'd already made--she was clearly trying to work out the best decision for the child. She's not someone I especially like or agree with, but I was impressed by her thoughtfulness.

Meanwhile, I get the usual happy-happy baloney from my team meetings....
