Via one of my online friends, a really saddening article on a family struggling with the daughter's childhood schizophrenia. The father writes about his own struggles here. Somewhat hard to read about: his pain is pretty unfiltered, and there is no pretty happy ending in sight, no leavening admixture of joy. It's all pretty realistic.
