Did people watch the same debate that I did? In particular, the Times coverage was just weird. Have they been reading their own articles about negative ads? I never had anything in particular against John McCain until this election, and I thought he came across as just crazy, grunting, smirking, interrupting, twitching, blinking. He also looked pasty. All in all, not appealing. And yet someone at the WaPo described him as in "happy warrior" mode. Hello?
