A Sense of History

Blessings on George Carlin, but I get uncomfortable with all the trailblazing rhetoric. I'm sure he'd be the first to say that Lenny Bruce opened that door: he walked through it, and he showed a certain fearlessness, but Bruce would be the one who took on the notion of the unspeakable in comedy.

May they be hilarious and potty-mouthed in the hereafter.
