As long as we're talking about art and meaning, can I talk about the great deal I got on a dress today? I needed an interview outfit, so I went to the mall. First I almost got this Brooks Brothers blazer that totally didn't fit and was ridiculously overpriced, and then I went to Nordstrom's and they were having this huge sale on St. John clothing, and while it may seem kind of boring and totally Texas Ladies Who Lunch, it is hella flattering (including size wise--I only needed a large, not an XL). The saleslady who was working with me is now my BFF. I ended up with this great dress and jacket combo that was about 1/3 the original price. Whee!
