Nowhere to Run To

Another bad day/team meeting. Very frustrated by the teachers, and basically untrusting of anyone in the room. The consultant was playing good cop, I think the aide is probably a little too harsh with Primera, and the teachers are just fucking clueless. We're not talking about a severely impaired kid: we're talking about a bright child with a multitude of skills but with fairly significant executive function deficits. It's not like there's nothing out there on this.

Not sure what to do. I have a phone call in to administration to whine. I feel like I was acting out, and that's not helpful to Primera. The consultant is recommending collaborative, and I don't think that's appropriate either. On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't fight it: she'd get the support she needs and she wouldn't have to miss out on specials.
