I see both my readers checked in. The annual slaughtering of the turkey is over with.
Saw the goddesslike speech pathologist who did the last good eval for Primera. She looked at Secundo's evals and was thinking cluttering. I asked about cluttering years ago and was told "Naah." I remember starting to look up articles on cluttering and thinking, "I don't feel like knowing who the world's experts on cluttering are." Anyway: she thought definite retrieval issues, which I've been asking about for years also. Interestingly, when I play word games with him, he is very, very fast at coming up with possibilities: we bought SmartMouth this week, and he was quicker out of the gate than I was. The irony is that he's quite strong verbally even though his expressive output is pretty problematic. It can take forever for him to get his ideas organized enough to actually say--maybe the issue is organizing the sentences rather than finding the specific words.
