My desk is spiffing. Yet somehow....characterless.

Made apple pie tonight. Damn fine pie. Had Prima help me with it. I used to avoid having her help me, b/c, well, it's easier not to have a child attempt to cook with you, and I'm an impatient sh*t sometimes. But she made a handy sous-chef, getting things out of the fridge, cracking eggs, and spending a good half-hour attempting to peel one apple. Also, she's good company. She asks questions about religion and things, and is just generally a fun and surprising person.
