Okay, I'm dragging this out a little. And of course if something's funny once it's hilarious the 86th time.

My first day student teaching, sort of. It was fun, though I only spent about five minutes doing Actual Teaching. Very rowdy class with a very, very short attention span. I sort of hate the room layout, too: the desks are in a giant U, with a double row at the trough of the U, which is where the really problematic kids sit (I'd been stationing myself there for the two months I spent observing last semester, which gave me ample opportunity to see them in action). I've begged the cooperating teacher not to give me that class, but OTOH, it'll be good experience if I DO get these clowns, and at least the cooperating teacher is in the room with me. I need to go out and get a planner and attendance book, just like a Real Teacher. Accessories! I can't wait!

New random thought: so I see there aer new claims of a Ted Kennedy love child. Tsk, tsk.
