"MacArthur Park" is not a bad song.   I feel strongly about this. 
 
I have a new favorite song lyric: it is "You're so beautiful, you've got to die someday" from "Roll 'Em, Pete."  All of my favorite song lyrics are backhanded slaps:
 
"You ain't a beauty, but hey, you're all right," from "Thunder Road."
 
"The morning sun when it's in your face really shows your age" from "Maggie May."
 
"I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes.  You'd know what a drag it is to see you," "Positively Fourth Street."
