There's a petition making the rounds of the various disability lists to the effect that Disney has gotten rid of the special needs pass for disabled kids, or gotten rid of it for kids with "invisible" disabilities. Henceforth, so the petition says, Disney employees will be making this determination. Online petitions always send me running to Snopes, which didn't have info on it. I didn't like something else I saw about the petition, to the effect that Roy Disney is upset about the direction the company is taking under Michael Eisner.

I'm surprised by the legs this stupid petition has--I've seen it on respectable blogs, e.g., and the business re Michael Eisner reminded me of Disney's unsavory history. Feh.
